We’re making the trek from Salt Lake City to Yellowstone National Park and we want to make sure we have plenty of gas to get there! Here are a few gas stations along the way that we recommend:
If you’re coming from Salt Lake City the first gas station you’ll come to is in Heber City.
From there it’s about an hour and a half drive to the next gas station in Evanston Wyoming.
Just outside of Evanston is the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest so make sure you have plenty of gas to get through the forest! There are a few gas stations in Kamas and Park City but they’re a bit out of the way.
Once you hit Park City you’re only about an hour from Salt Lake City.
However if you’re planning on making a stop in Park City we recommend getting gas in Heber City or Evanston.
Just south of Park City is the Mirror Lake Highway which takes you through the Uinta Mountains.
This stretch of road is beautiful but it’s also fairly remote so make sure you have enough gas to get through it!
